How a TEEYAN suit is made for one woman.

Every TEEYAN piece is cut and stitched for a single client. Nothing sits in a warehouse. When you send an enquiry, our client care will reply within 24 hours (Punjab time) to confirm the piece, palette, and measurements.

Measurements. We accept a set of measurements taken at home with our short guide, or we book a live video session with our masterni. For bridal, we prefer the video session.

Timeline. A prêt piece takes 4–6 weeks from confirmed measurements. A heavy handworked or bridal piece takes 10–14 weeks. We tell you the honest week your piece is expected before you commit — never after.

Payment. A 50% advance confirms the order. The balance is due before dispatch. We do not begin cutting until the advance is received; we do not dispatch until the balance is cleared.

Duties-paid delivery to Canada, the USA, the UK, the UAE, Australia and India.

We dispatch from Mohali, Punjab, by insured international courier (DHL or FedEx). The shipping price includes all import duties and customs charges — the number on your invoice is the number that reaches your door.

• Canada — 5–8 business days after dispatch.
• United States — 4–7 business days after dispatch.
• United Kingdom — 4–6 business days after dispatch.
• India — 2–4 business days by Blue Dart.

Every parcel is tracked. We share the tracking number with you the moment the courier collects your piece from the atelier. Signature is required on delivery.

Other countries. We ship elsewhere on request. Duties may be your responsibility depending on the destination; we will confirm the total, in writing, before you commit.

A made-to-measure piece is not returnable — but the fit is our responsibility.

Because each TEEYAN suit is cut to your measurements, we do not accept returns for change of mind, colour preference, or size. This is the honest cost of a piece made only for you.

If the fit is not right on arrival, we correct it, at our cost. Send us photographs within 14 days of delivery and we will either courier the piece back for alterations, or reimburse an approved local tailor up to a stated amount. Most fit corrections take 2–3 weeks including courier.

If a piece arrives damaged — a torn seam, a missing motif, a stain — please photograph it before wearing it and write to us within 7 days. We will make it right, always.

Cancellation. An order may be cancelled in full within 24 hours of the confirmed advance. After 24 hours, the advance covers cloth and karigar deposit and is non-refundable. If the piece has begun stitching, cancellation is no longer possible — the piece will be completed and dispatched.

How to keep hand-embroidery beautiful for a lifetime.

Every TEEYAN piece carries real thread, real metal, and real stone. It is not for a machine.

• Dry clean only, at a reputable specialist who has handled zardozi, dabka, and phulkari before. Ask them to hand-spot rather than immerse if the piece is heavily worked.
• Store folded in muslin, not on a hanger — hangers pull the shoulder over years. Place a small muslin pouch of clove or neem leaves in the fold.
• Do not iron directly on embroidery. Iron the reverse side, on cotton setting, through a soft muslin cloth.
• Perfume and attar should be worn before the suit, not on it. Metal thread reacts to alcohol.
• If a bead or motif ever comes loose, send us a photograph. We will re-stitch it, free, for the lifetime of the piece.

What we hold, and what we do not.

TEEYAN is operated by the atelier at Mohali, Punjab, India. When you enquire, we collect only what is needed to reply and to make your piece: your name, your email, your phone or WhatsApp number, your shipping address (when the order is confirmed), and your measurements.

We do not sell, rent, or share your details with any third party, ever. We do not run advertising pixels or resell data to marketing platforms.

Third parties we use, and only for the piece in front of us: the courier that delivers your suit; the payment processor that carries your bank instruction; the email service that delivers our reply. Each of these sees only what they need to do their work.

Your rights. You may ask us at any time — at clientcare@teeyan.co — to see the details we hold about you, correct them, or delete them. We will confirm within 14 days. If you are in the UK, the EU, or California, this includes your rights under GDPR and CCPA respectively.

Cookies. This site stores no marketing or advertising cookies. It stores a small privacy-friendly analytics record (page URL, device type, country) that is not linked to you personally.

The questions we are asked most.

Do you have a shop I can visit?
Not yet. We open our first physical atelier in Mohali in early 2027. Until then, we serve you by video and by courier — the same house, the same masterni, without the drive.

Do you make Punjabi salwar suits, gharara, sharara, or anarkali?
Yes to all four, and to Patiala suits, straight suits, kurta co-ords, and lehenga sets. Every TEEYAN piece is made to your measurements — the silhouette on the site is a starting point, not a limit.

Can I choose a colour or motif that is not on the site?
Yes. Every piece is drawn for the woman who asks for it. Tell us the palette, the occasion, the embroidery weight, and our client care will send you a proposed piece within a week.

Do you ship duty-paid to my country?
Yes to Canada, the USA, the UK, the UAE, Australia and India — all-in. Elsewhere we quote in writing before you commit.

How long does a bridal piece take?
10 to 14 weeks. For a wedding, please write to us at least four months before the function. We do not rush a bridal.

What are your prices?
Every piece is priced individually because every piece is made individually. Send us an enquiry with the suit you love and we reply with the honest quote — cloth, karigari, weeks, and duty-paid delivery — inside 24 hours.

Can I gift a TEEYAN suit?
Yes. We prepare a gift card with a handwritten note in your name; the recipient's measurements are then taken privately.
