- Matte gold marori worked as a fine line along the mandarin collar band and down the length of the front placket — the only karigari on the kurta.
- Buttonhole finishing in matte gold thread — one buttonhole, one karigar, one afternoon.

- Machine-washable on cold, gentle cycle — but dry clean by hand is safest.
- Iron on medium heat with a mulmul cloth between iron and silk.

Wear it with almost anything — this is our most versatile suit. Small studs, a thin gold chain, oxidised silver bangles, or nothing at all. Juttis in nude, ivory, or matte gold. Never over-style Kora — that undoes it.

Kora is a Punjabi palazzo suit — a cropped kurti with wide-leg straight palazzo trousers and a soft dupatta. The palazzo is the modern, quiet cousin of the gharara and sharara.
Is Kora a wedding suit?
Kora is not bridal — she is for the Roka, Chunni Chadhai, Mehndi day, or for a modern working woman's everyday. For bridal palazzo suits we scale up the fabric to heavier silks.
What is the embroidery on Kora?
One quiet line of hand marori across the neckline and cuffs. This is not a heavily embroidered suit — Kora is about restraint.

Can I get Kora in a different colour?
Yes — the chalk is our house version. Kora can be commissioned in ivory, dusty blue, sage green, or any pale silk-cotton you choose.
How is Kora sized?
Every Kora is made to measure. On the first WhatsApp call we walk you through the twelve measurements we take — kurta, sleeve, chest, waist, hip, bottom length, and bottom seat, plus dupatta preference. We fit bust 32"–46" and heights 5'0"–5'10" comfortably; for sizes outside this range, we welcome the conversation.
