- Two morni (peahens) worked in resham (silk thread), dabka, and moti along the kurta hem — one at each side seam.
- Two peacocks at the dupatta pallu — one at each end. The feathers are worked in matte gold zari, the body in resham blue.
- The teal itself is a real natural dye — indigo first, then turmeric second, then a mild iron mordant. You will see the colour deepen very slightly with the first wash.
- Dry clean by hand only — the dabka on the peacock tail is delicate.
- Store rolled around a mulmul tube (the peacock motifs at the hem should not be folded).
- Rest 24 hours between wears.
